Welcome

We would like to thank you for bringing your pet into our practice and we hope that this will be the beginning of a long and happy relationship. We thought you might find it helpful if we gave you some information on our surgery. Should you have a query please do not hesitate to ask the girls on reception who will do their utmost to help you

Opening Hours:

Opening hours are between

  • 0800-1800 hours Monday - Friday.
  •  Saturdays  - we open between 0800 –1200 hours.
  •  Sundays & most Public Holidays– 0800-1000 - Emergency and follow up treatment clinic – we do not encourage vaccinations/routine work on these days
  • We have a dip tank and one of our veterinary assistants will dip your dogs .  (Open 0800-1100 and 1500-1700 hours Monday – Friday, Saturdays 0800 –1100 hours).

·Should your pet need a routine operation we suggest that you make a booking  in advance – surgery is done Mon – Fri mornings, but not Sat.. Reception will let you know the preparation procedure for the operation. Animals that are coming in for the day or booked in for surgery can be brought to the kennels from 0700 hours onwards.

They will be admitted at the kennels and you will be required to complete a hospital sheet with details of the procedure required and contact telephone numbers so we can reach you later in the day. The patient should be collected between 1600 – 1730 hours from reception

 

Reception has a variety of products for sale, including deworming tablets,  flea and tick remedies, shampoos, tonics, dog and cat food and ,feeding bowls, leads and collars, etc so come in and look.

We have handouts on a variety of different diseases as well as  on raising puppies and kittens..

We do not offer credit facilities. Please settle your accounts after each visit to the vet. However please do not hesitate to discuss cost of treatment/quotations, possible alternative treatments or payment terms with the vet at the time of your consultation.

If you are sending your pet with your gardener please be good enough to send a note with him informing us of your/pets details and your requirements.

We email newsletters which keep you informed on what is happening at the Surgery and items of interest concerning your pets Please send us your email address. This helps us communicate useful/important information to you regarding events at the surgery.
